Ottawa, Canada MICA Flooring Full time

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic **Office Administrator** to join our team. You must have excellent communication and organizational skills and an ability to take on multiple projects at once.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support Project Management Team with material orders, project scheduling, managing deliveries and all other clerical tasks associated with project management.
- Act as the main contact for customers/suppliers/sub contractors on an ongoing basis to answer questions and resolve issues and concerns in an efficient and timely manner.
- Prepare and provide all supplier correspondence including all purchase orders, deliveries, pricing, and material availability when required.
- Responding to contractors’ queries and correspondence
- Manage shipping and receiving. Arrange shipments, schedule deliveries.
- Provide direct administrative support to the Project Management Team.
- Provide general office support as needed.

**Required Experience**:

- Familiarity with our specific industry, or related construction background
- Able to use Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and various software packages.

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision, exercise judgment and make decisions within the scope of authority.
- Excellent ability to resourcefully obtain information.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow up on outstanding issues.

**Salary**: $15.50-$19.50 per hour
