**About the Role**

We are looking to build our first sales team targeting the business segment, operating out of our Ottawa office (where all the excitement is) with great potential for growth as we rapidly expand the business segment. We are looking for someone energetic, who enjoys being part of a team, and who’s up for challenging the status quo.

The role focuses on creating and growing demand for the business segment through outbound calling, nurturing, and positioning.

This entry-level sales position will start with a heavy focus on demand generation through outbound calls, so if you are a self-starter, looking for a change, and enjoy the thought of getting out of the house and helping other businesses take their promotional game to the next level while being a part of a game-changing industry, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**
- Generating interest via phone calls and outreach to organizations and companies (no door-to-door sales required)
- Tracking key buying signals and details
- Identifying opportunities via research and outbound prospecting
- Closing sales within a supportive, collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Meeting sales targets and call quotas
- Managing quotes and follow-ups for prospects
- Creating demand for the business segment of things engraved
- Logging and updating details in the CRM
- Qualifying prospects based on set criteria

Your days will mostly be spent on the phone, making outbound calls, adding/updating your prospect funnel in the CRM, perfecting your sales pitch, and closing deals.

You will gain valuable experience and be supported every step of the way and since we will be moving quickly, we are looking for someone who is not afraid to dive right, can think on their feet, is willing to put themselves out there, and is excited to be part of something great.

- Comfortable and professional on the phone
- Participate in training to improve the customer experience
- Excellent time management
- Experience in a customer service role (bonus for working with businesses)
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Write and speak clearly in english (french is an asset)
- Comfortable speaking to business decision-makers
