Business Development Manager

Head Office is located in Winnipeg, MB, however, this position is open to any location where Allmar has offices.
**JOB SUMMARY**
The Business Development Manager is tasked with the duty of driving increased sales for Allmar across the country; for improving our communication with Architects, Contractors, and End Users; for developing awareness of Allmar expertise and product solutions, resulting in increased frequency of qualified selling opportunities.
- Working together with the National Sales Manager, and Branch Managers and Sales staff to achieve company goals including increasing company sales
- Create sales and marketing awareness of Allmar capabilities in the contractor, architect and end user community across our market territory, through support of Branch involvement in these communities
- Assisting in the development of core competencies and systems for the Sales Team to support them in reaching Company goals
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

- Develops strategic sales and marketing objectives nationally and locally
- Initiate market research studies and analyze their findings and assist in product and service development, and direct and evaluate the marketing strategies of the company, including those that will satisfy new demands
- Manage and develop marketing programs and materials such as; advertising, event support and online promotions
- Manage local and regional trade shows with branch managers and regional champions participation
- Provide coaching and guidance to the national sales team driving performance to budgeted sales levels and beyond
- Working together with the sales team to evaluate sales performance
- Establish new sales market opportunities and manage effective pricing strategies
- Manage effective pricing strategies that will not only lead to more profitability for the company but will also help in the consolidation of market share
- Provide leadership to spec writing initiatives and develop programs to leverage this resource into sales growth
- Assists with the National Education Program to ensure continuing educational programs (internal and external) are provided to sales staff to allow for further growth development and awareness
- Keeps management informed by preparing reports; making presentations; interpreting information; making recommendations

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Requires a post-secondary degree or minimum of 7 years of sales leadership experience
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
