**Chinook Equipment** is looking for a** Service Coordinator **to join their growing team in **Leduc** Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the Service Coordinator will work closely with the Service and Parts Team and be responsible for work order creation, warranty submission, appointment booking and establishing long-term customer relations serviced by highly skilled technicians.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee and administer warranty claims, ensuring all details are met and in compliance with manufacture guidelines and conditions
- Schedule and book service work appointments both in the shop and in the field to provide timely service for our customers
- Speak with customers as required to explain repairs, billing and resolve complaints
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring our employees make customer satisfaction a priority to create customer loyalty and generate referrals
- Maintain effective communication within the department and with other leaders in the dealership; working together to identify opportunities and resolve issues
- Establish and maintains good working relationships with our vendors
- Work towards further growing Service/Parts presence in Alberta
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience working with Heavy Equipment is considered a strong asset
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership setting is also considered a strong asset
- A team player committed to working with all stakeholders of the business to ensure goal alignment and achievement
- Strong analytical and decision making skills with a continuous improvement pedigree
- Results driven with exceptional planning, organization and execution skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills including the ability to use tact, sensitivity, empathy and professionalism when interacting with customers and employees
- Mechanical knowledge/aptitude and the ability to convey technical information to customers when providing service
- Knowledge and understanding of the overall functioning of a Service department and the day-to-day operations
