C&C Insurance Consultants and Student VIP are currently looking for a Health Plan Office Administrative Assistant to join our team Working on site at the Dalhousie Student Union, the Health Plan Office Assistant will provide administrative support to students with their Extended Health and International Medical Plans.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Monitoring and tracking student opt-out requests
- Processing online and in person opt ins, opt outs and liaising with finance office for account updates
- Working with department leaders and medical providers in area relating to coverage inquiries, troubleshooting, and general assistance
- Assisting students with coverage questions, concerns, submission of claims
- Processing debit and credit transactions
- Assisting with marketing and benefit plan material design, ordering and posting
- Providing courteous/professional customer service to the students of Dalhousie University for all of their Health Plan needs related to any of the plans available
- Attending student and staff orientations - Presentations, event booths, etc.
- General reception duties, including greeting office guests, mailing, filing and other general administrative duties as required

Assets & Requirements:

- College or University level education
- Knowledge of benefit plans is an asset
- Strong administrative skills, including typing skills, phone manner and knowledge of office telephone systems
- Excellent Communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (word, excel, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of data recording and analysis
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail
