**Role and responsibilities**

Reporting to the Readiness Lead, the Readiness Project Manager will support with developing & providing leadership to the team on the delivery specifics of the Readiness Improvement Plan and Strategic Readiness Workstreams described in the Project Annual Work Plan:
The Readiness workstreams are:

- Commissioning Lookahead schedule
- Readiness checklist
- In-flight Project Readiness Support
- Readiness Roles and Responsibilities
- Readiness Dashboard Tool
- Readiness Visualization
- Metrolinx Capability
- Communication and Engagement

The Project Manager (PM) will work closely with the Readiness Lead and Readiness Planner to ensure the best outcomes for the coordinated team.

The PM will take ownership of Readiness Workstreams, and projects and scope under their control, as designated by the Readiness Lead. They will utilize their previous experience to drive a culture of best practices for Readiness across the program. They will be required to proactively engage with the project delivery teams (PDTs), Corridor Teams, Sponsors, Operations, Engineering, and Safety to understand any positives and/or negatives and work with the teams to develop resolutions that are best for the program.
- Supports the Readiness Lead in leading a small multi-disciplinary matrixed team delivering Data Analysis, Planning, reporting, BIM, and Project Management. This team will include other specialists as the rise occurs.
- Proactive approach to engaging with the various Project Delivery Teams (PDT’s) and other stakeholders.
- Must understand key performance indicator monitoring and engagement, directly linked to monthly measurement criteria established.
- Must understand resource management, interface, and constraints management.
- Able to manage activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome.
- Must be capable of supporting the Project Controls Centre and team to maintain up-to-date metrics on performance across the entire program.
- Recommends and initiates change to project delivery plans, and identifies areas of improvement to put forward to relevant areas in business and operating processes.
- Interacts with clients and other stakeholders to ensure that objectives are being met.
- Manages external relationships important for project delivery (e.g., statutory authorities).
- Builds and maintains networks with peer project teams and other disciplines.
- Supports the development and delivery of implementation plans, establishing commercially beneficial delivery models and leading on innovation & best practices.
