**Position Description**:
We are currently looking for a **Clinical Project Manager - Operational Readiness** to join our **Project Horizon team**. This person will be responsible for supporting Operational Readiness and Clinical Planning for Project Horizon. The Operational Readiness team is critical to managing the direct and indirect impact of the project on the patient and staff experience. This role will be integral to identifying, defining, organizing, and implementing the deliverables and tasks that are required for the activation and occupation of new spaces in a logical, timely, safe, and cost-effective manner.

**Here’s What You’ll Do**:
The Project Manager will work with key project partners to ensure overall success of Project Horizon. The Project Manager will have accountability for the coordination and implementation of program-specific Operational Readiness work plans. The Project Manager will also support the operational readiness of associated processes and people to set a foundation and align with the timelines for the construction related activity and transitions impacting SickKids hospital.
Major Accountabilities:

- Provide guidance during the phasing and decanting period to maintain operations and minimize the impact on patients, families, staff, physicians, volunteers, and health partners
- Identify potential risks related to the operational readiness and transition planning and coordinate the mitigation plans with the respective teams
- Ensure the patient experience is integrated into the operational readiness planning
- Coordinate the retrieval of clinical, financial, and human resource data for clinical planning. Works with Finance, Human Resources and Clinical Operations to acquire, verify and share with consultant team
- In conjunction with the Consultants and Clinical Functional Program Leads for each area ensures objectives of each meeting are complete and follow up items are documented
- Develop a plan and execute on follow-up meeting items in coordination with the consultants
- Assist in development, monitoring, and tracking of departmental transition budgets
- Assist in developing tools, manuals, guidelines, policies, templates, forms, and Intranet information to support project activities and processes
- Act as an ambassador for Project Horizon to internal shareholders
- Work closely with program leaders and key shareholders from the following areas in the development and monitoring of program-specific operational readiness plans:

- Technical Leads and Facilities to ensure continued alignment of operational readiness to project deliverables
- Communication team to ensure new processes are clearly outlined to both internal and external shareholders
- Change Engagement team to ensure that change engagement best practices are proactively integrated into the operational readiness workplans
- The Senior Project Manager for Transition and Move Planning to ensure timely knowledge transfer in preparation for transition and move planning of relevant programs
- The Training and Orientation team to ensure that a comprehensive and timely plan is developed, and staff are prepared for the transition and move
- Horizon Tech to ensure that programs are prepared for technological change
- Infection Control and Occupational Hygiene to ensure continual safety and quality standards are met

**Here's What You'll Need**:

- Degree or Diploma in a clinical discipline (e.g. Nursing, Allied Health, MRT, RT)
- An aptitude for project management or process improvement. Project Management Professional (PMP) designation considered an asset
- Lean or Six Sigma Training an asset
- Strong leadership and coaching qualities with the ability to engage, motivate and lead small to large teams, resolve team conflicts, and work collaboratively to achieve overarching project goals
- Excellent administrative skills, including communication, record keeping, monitoring and organizational skills
- High level of maturity and discretion is required
