**Mace North America Limited / Mace Consultancy (Canada) Limited **is looking for one Readiness Assistant Project Manager. this position reports to the Readiness Project Manager.

The Readiness Assistant Project Manager will be supporting with developing and delivering specifics of the readiness improvement plan and strategic readiness workstreams described in the program annual work plan.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the readiness project manager.
- Supporting with developing and delivering specifics of the readiness improvement plan and strategic readiness workstreams described in the program annual work plan.
- Working closely with the readiness project manager and readiness planner on the program to ensure the best outcomes for the coordinated team.
- Providing administrative support and coordination to the project manager, ensuring smooth execution of project activities.
- Assisting in the development and implementation phases of the readiness workstreams, collaborating with managers and project teams to achieve project objectives.
- Supporting the implementation of readiness workstreams, processes, and reporting, providing regular project status updates to the lead.
- Addressing conflicts to facilitate timely resolution, track issues, and contribute to the investigation of potential project disruptions, implementing corrective measures as necessary.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- A bachelor’s degree is required. A certificate or equivalent experience in project management is required. You have project coordination experience, preferably in the design, construction or assurance of heavy passenger rail transit systems or related works. You have familiarity with railway corridor infrastructure and related construction projects.
- You have strong organization and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and project teams. You are proficient in project management software and tools.
- You will have a project or programme management consultancy background in the rail and transportation sectors and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities mace have to offer.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a related project management or coordinator role as well as at least 1 year of experience specifically related to large-scale construction projects. As well, you must have project coordination experience, preferably in the design, construction or assurance of heavy passenger rail transit systems or related works.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills, clear and concise. Good presentation skills.
- Well-developed decision-making skills.

The individual will take ownership to identify, solve and overcome challenges, whilst keeping other abreast of developments.
