**About the role**
This is a full-time permanent position and primarily remote, with a possibility to work from our downtown Toronto office for residents of that area.
The Business Development Representative is accountable for driving revenue growth by creating a large pool of prospects who may be interested in the company’s product and service offerings. The role builds relationships with prospects by understanding their business needs and demonstrating how Trew Knowledge products and services can meet those needs. The role proactively manages the relationship throughout the sales process, answers questions the prospect may have, and promptly moves qualified leads through the sales cycle in order to convert prospects into Trew Knowledge clients.
**What you will do**
- Identify and research potential clients through various channels including online research, networking events, social media, and referrals.
- Generate leads from a pool of contacts and build a pipeline of prospects interested in digital marketing services.
- Deliver sales presentations to prospects, demonstrating the agency's capabilities and explaining how the company’s digital marketing solutions can address their business needs and goals.
- Take a consultative approach when meeting with prospective clients by understanding their business goals, pain points, requirements, and offer tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Prepare customized proposals and quotes based on client requirements and objectives. Collaborate with the agency's marketing and creative teams to develop compelling proposals that showcase the agency's expertise and proposed strategies.
- Address any concerns the potential lead may have to move prospects through the sales funnel and successfully close deals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospects until the end of the sales cycle, continue to build and maintain the relationships by providing ongoing support and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts using Client Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on sales performance, pipeline status, and client feedback.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, developments, and best practices in digital marketing. Stay informed on new technologies and emerging platforms to better advise potential clients and accurately position the agency's services.
**What we are looking for**
You are a definitely qualified if you possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, or related discipline
- At least 5 years of client-facing sales experience. Digital agency experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing solutions project life cycle, products and services, and sales processes.
- Strong impact and influence skills and highly proficient at developing and delivering compelling client presentations.
- Well organized, passionate about client relations, and focused on enhancing the client experience.
- Strong relationship management to establish and maintain client relationships and generate new business and contribute to the achievement of revenue targets.
