We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Business Development Representative. Procom is one of North America’s leading staffing and contract workforce services providers. This role provides the opportunity to:
- Work in a collaborative Sales and Marketing team that supports the efforts of the business by partnering with local clients to support their workforce solution needs and meet their IT objectives.
- Build a foundation for long-term career growth in a growing, entrepreneurial professional services firm.
The Role:
Procom is seeking a Business Development Representative with a proven track record in sales to join our team. The existing team, compensation structure and roster of clients provide a great opportunity for any Business Development Representative that is looking for a fast-growing organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strategically prospecting for outbound opportunities
- Speaking to the Procom Services lines of business resulting in breaking into net-new logos in your assigned territory
- Responsible for generating approximately 75% of Procom’s Sales pipeline
- Generating qualified pipelines in net-new accounts and increasing the sales pipeline in existing account

- Partnering closely with Account Executives and Marketing to prospect, source, identify and nurture net new pipeline that leads to closed-won revenue
- Fostering new business initiatives with target accounts and acting as their internal advocate
- Building a point of view on how to help qualify individual customers’ needs
- Challenging the status quo by positioning a complex set of products to equally complex buyers
- Strategically defining value and specific business outcomes that our service will help deliver each business
- Building credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders
- Anticipating and effectively overcoming objections
- Managing a high volume of target accounts through effective time management
- Researching and understanding various lines of business, personas and their priorities
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- 2+ years of relevant professional sales/recruitment experience
- Experience outbound prospecting into a large list of targeted accounts
- Ability to partner with cross functional teams, such as marketing, operations, etc.
- Measurable track record of success against target goals
- Experienced in using Salesforce and other CRM tools for lead and opportunity creation and automation
