We are currently seeing a skilled individual for the position of Bookkeeper / Office Administrator. This position will play a crucial role in maintaining company accounts and assisting with ensuring the smooth financial operations of the company. This position requires a meticulous individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in bookkeeping.
Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 (based on experience)
Position type: Full-time
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintaining company accounts & managing receivables and payables through reconciliation of accounts, packing slips & invoices
- Performing general banking duties including petty cash, payments, deposits and safeguarding documentation
- Preparing monthly billing reports and generating customer invoices
- Perform job-costing duties per company policies
- Various reporting, costing and budgeting
- Perform clerical/office duties
**Experience and Specialization**:
- Accounting software
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Google Docs
- Gmail/Outlook
- Experience in a bookkeeping or accounting assistant role

We work in a fast-paced environment and this individual must be able to handle multiple projects and work towards deadlines with a strong sense of urgency. The ability to prioritize and work well under pressure is important. Experience in the construction industry is a benefit but is not required.
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
