Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our client's team in a full-time, temporary to permanent role position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and analyze incoming memos, letters, and reports to determine their significance and distribute them appropriately.
  • Answer and direct phone calls or take messages for appropriate parties.
  • Coordinate invoice routing and monitor payments to vendors.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, conduct bank reconciliations, and utilize accounting software to input and manage financial data.
  • Process payroll for approximately 20+ staff members.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a receptionist/office administrator role.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping position.
  • Experience with processing payroll is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
