Office Administrator

Wadden Electric proudly serves Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding areas and specializes in residential & commercial electrical services including small repairs, upgrades, renovations, new construction, and home automation.
**Responsibilities**:
- Reconciliation and processing of weekly payroll.
- Bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable; collection activities for past due accounts.
- Monthly source deduction and quarterly HST remittance to CRA.
- Daily job cost reviews to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Follow up on quote requests from clients, preparation of quote templates for estimators.
- Coordinating and managing site visits, client meetings, and service provider appointments.
- Scheduling and assigning upcoming work in time-management software.
- Performing other relevant duties as needed.
**Required skills and qualifications**:

- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Solid critical thinking skills.
- Strong work ethic, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.
- Experience in developing internal processes and systems.
- Experience in the construction industry and/or education in Office Administration (or relevant study) considered an asset but not required.

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
