**Here's what your day-to-day will look like in this role.**
- Manage tools for monitoring, updates and reports including servers, virtual machines, networks, security systems, etc.
- Respond to incidents generated by the monitoring systems, provide diagnosis and participate in the resolution of the various cases.
- Investigate complex problems and propose solutions or improvements to clients.
- Respond to service requests from customers who have subscribed to our services.
- Create and/or maintain documentation which includes build books, operating and maintenance procedures.
- Provide technical assistance to team members and colleagues
**Here's what you need to have and master to get the job**
- DEC in Computer Science or a combination of training and relevant experience.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of clients support on technical issues.
- Certification AZ104 (Microsoft Azure Administrator)
- Experience with managed services or with tools such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, NinjaRMM or any other remote monitoring and management software.
- Experience with security softwares, such as Fortigate, Fortinet, Bitdefender and other treat management solutions
- You have experience in managed service delivery, monitoring and/or remote management.
- You have solid skills in troubleshooting and performance analysis.
- You understand the fundamentals of virtualization, an asset.
- You know the concepts of network communications.
The following will be considered as assets:
- Programming and/or development of scripts using PowerShell or Bash.
- Remote Desktop Services (RDS), web (IIS/Apache), databases (MS SQL, MySQL/MariaDB), Active Directory and GPO.
- Windows Servers and related services including AD, GPO, DHCP, DNS, Hyper-V, Microsoft System Center, Microsoft 365
- Vmware Vsphere 6.7 and 7.0 and related software: vCloud Director, NSX-V and NSX-T, vRealize Log Insight, vRealize Operations
- Veeam Cloud Connect, Veeam Backup & Replication
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of clustered and high availability environments.
- Experience in recovering services in the event of an outage/attack.
