**Position Summary**

The _Communications & Stakeholder Coordinator_ acts as a brand champion for HomeEd in facilitating effective communication internally and externally. The role ensures HomeEd’s corporate communications and events are professional, timely and engaging, while supporting and coordinating with various stakeholders to advance HomeEd’s goals.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Corporate Communications _
- Coordinate the development and execution of HomeEd’s communications and community engagement plans
- Maintain the consistent use of brand content and collateral, sourcing and enhancing templates and content as appropriate
- Develop and distribute professional and persuasive communications to HomeEd staff, customers, stakeholders and media as required
- Write professional and persuasive proposals, presentations, briefs, memos, media releases and reports as requested
- Actively manage HomeEd’s brand presence and content across traditional and social media platforms
- Monitor media platforms for information about, or relevant to HomeEd and coordinate internal responses as appropriate
- Event Management_
- Champion the planning and execution of events and initiatives to drive resident, staff, and stakeholder engagement
- Engage with residents and stakeholders at events, addressing inquiries and strengthening HomeEd’s reputation in the community
- Contribute to the planning and execution of internal and external meetings
- Stakeholder Engagement_
- Communicate and connect with various stakeholders, understanding their needs and educating them on HomeEd’s activities and value
- Liaise with social agencies, understanding, coordinating and communicating supportive offerings for HomeEd residents while supporting effective partnerships
- Support for Board of Directors and CEO_
- Assist the CEO in the preparation and organization of meeting agendas, briefings, reports, and other documentation for the Board
- Coordinate, schedule, and attend Board meetings as required, including managing logistics, technology, meals, materials and minute taking
- Complete Board and Committee meeting minutes in a timely, accurate manner
- Support Board and CEO administrative needs and inquiries, problem solving as required
- Special Projects & Support_
- Conduct internal and external research and analysis as required
- Act as the primary coverage and support for:

- Information technology software and hardware coordination and support.
- Corporate office administration and organization including front desk coverage and general inbox assistance
- Problem-solve, streamline and/or educate staff and stakeholders on process improvements as required
- Execute confidential or sensitive assignments as required

**Education & Experience Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary Degree or Credential in Business, Administration, or another relevant major
