**About the Opportunity**:
The Critical Care Quality Leader, under the direction of the Director and Managers of Critical Care and Physician Co-Leads for Critical Care, provides quality leadership for all services provided by 3A/5.2 ICUs. This role promotes fundamental improvements to quality management practices thereby enhancing overall quality performance. This position strives to uphold the Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) Strategic Plan and operational goals. The position will work with the co-leadership and multidisciplinary teams to guide and implement process changes in support of quality and continuous quality improvement.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Graduate degree in a health specific field and/or equivalent in education and experience
- Undergraduate degree in Health Care discipline; Masters degree an asset
- Appropriate licensure/membership in professional organization
- Minimum 5 Years Critical Care experience or management experience in a Critical Care setting
- Understands quality, quality systems, and innovations in quality and patient care
- Understands Critical Care procedures, complications and patient population
- Demonstrates a high degree of independent decision making, creativity, self-direction, motivation, change management and team building and leadership skills
- Excellent project management and coaching skills, and ability to teach/transfer skills to all team members
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective presentation skills and group leadership skills
- Demonstrates abilities as a change agent, will be able to work effectively with all levels of the organization and contribute as a team member
- High analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Experience in information management and demonstrated computer skills
- Skills in operational and strategic planning
- Helps promote a respectful workplace environment
- Competencies in other languages are an asset, French preferred

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$38.79 - $48.48 Hourly
