**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Senior Director, the Quality Improvement Leader will provide leadership and coordination in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of quality and patient safety initiatives within NSH’s provincial and zonal C3 teams. The C3 Quality Improvement Leader will have a responsibility to implement all aspects of comprehensive quality, patient safety, patient engagement, patient relations, risk, and accreditation plans to achieve the best outcomes in health care program and service delivery, safe care, and continuous improvement to meet or exceed all accreditation requirements.
**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Baccalaureate degree related to healthcare or quality management and/or equivalent education and experience.
- Master’s degree in related or relevant field of study an asset
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience or management experience
- Project management experience would be considered an asset.
- Formal training and education in improvement science, process improvement methodologies, quality management and patient safety training and education is an asset.
- Lead quality improvement discussions and reviews to identify opportunities for enhancement and innovation.
- Demonstrated skills in critical thinking, problem solving, leadership and communication.
- Demonstrated ability to define a vision and guide individuals while maintaining group cohesiveness, motivation, commitment and effectiveness.
- Experience building internal and external collaborative relationships while demonstrating excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
- A change management leader.
- An on-going commitment to professional development with demonstrated organizational and priority-management skills
- A solid understanding of Accreditation Canada standards and processes.
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$38.98 - $48.73 Hourly
