**Upper Canada Fuel & Burner** is a family-owned business with our head office located in Peterborough, ON and additional locations in Oshawa, Napanee & Kingston, ON. Upper Canada Fuel and Burner is committed to supplying quality home comfort, commercial products and service to our customers across our expanding geographical footprint.
We are seeking an experienced Administration Team member for a full-time role at our Peterborough site. This role will consist of approximately 42 hours weekly.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Answer inquiries and arrange plans for payment with customers
- Responding to telephone calls and to all incoming requests for information or assistance as required in person, by phone and electronically.
- Communicate with customers regarding their accounts, balances, payments, etc.
- Integral member of the Peterborough team as well as liaising with staff at other sites
- Data entry and administration
- Maintain customer profiles in company software
- Maintain required documentation on customer accounts; follow-up with customers as needed to ensure no interruption to service/delivery schedule
- Complete and maintain spreadsheets, scheduled reports and regular system updates
- Complete Fuel inventory and Reconciliation
- Cross train in multiple roles according to job matrix
- Work with other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and/or resolving issues if needed.
- Perform duties on time at a high standard
- Clerical duties - maintaining filing and records
- Prepare statements
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good time management skills, must be self-motivated and self-directed
**Minimum Requirements**:
2 years relevant administrative experience
Strong MS Office skills
proven experience working in a dynamic and flexible environment
would be an asset: AR and/or AP experience, dispatcher experience, willing to train on forklift
**Hours of work** - This is a Full Time in office position of 42 hours per week average. 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday - Friday. End time will vary between 4:30 and 6:00pm 2-3 scheduled days per week. This position requires you to be on an inventory rotation for 3 weekend hours once every 3 weeks on a Sunday.

**Salary**: $15.50-$39.59 per hour
