We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate **Medical Administrative Assistant** to join our team.

**Position Overview**:
As a Medical Administrative Assistant at Safer Six, you will play a crucial role in delivering efficient and compassionate care to our patients. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and assisting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Patient Reception and Customer Service**:

- Greet patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and respect for their privacy.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with scheduling appointments.
- Provide accurate information regarding clinic services and policies.

**Appointment Scheduling and Management**:

- Assist in scheduling and reschedule patient appointments as necessary.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize the appointment calendar.

**Patient Records Management**:

- Maintain electronic patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information.
- Prepare and organize patient charts for appointments.

**Billing and Insurance Verification**:

- Verify patient insurance coverage
- Assist patients with billing inquiries and payment options.

**Support Healthcare Professionals**:

- Assist physicians and nurses with administrative tasks as needed.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
- Assisting with test samples and processing samples for lab pick-up

**Education and Outreach**:

- Provide patients with informational materials and resources as directed.

**Compliance and Reporting**:

- Adhere to clinic policies and procedures, including HIPAA compliance.
- Report any incidents or concerns to clinic management.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with healthcare providers and fellow staff to ensure seamless clinic operations.
- Foster a positive, welcoming, and supportive work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of sexual health issues is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Compassion and empathy when dealing with sensitive patient issues.
- Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced clinic environment.
