Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:

- Grow, service and maintain established territory in Ontario, Canada.
- Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on current and potential accounts. (50% existing accounts + 50% business development)
- Adjusts content of sales presentations by analyzing the type of customer
- Keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses and budgets.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to customers based on lab recommendations.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Sales Representative Qualifications/Skills:

- Three to five years or more in the adhesive industry or related market space.
- Proven track record of achieving sales objectives.
- Proven ability to secure new business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possesses the ability to communicate the Evans Value Proposition.
- Positive attitude and works well with other Evans team members.
- Good technical adhesive knowledge and can communicate adhesive issues to the Evans lab and manufacturing when needed.
- Possesses the ability to negotiate customer contracts.
- Self-confidence and self-starter
- Product knowledge understands packaging adhesives which includes hot melts and water-based products.
- Good computer skills including Excel and Power Point
- Has the ability to present professionally to existing and potential customers.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

- BA/BS University degree with a concentration in business or marketing.
- Three to five years of industrial adhesive sales experience
- Bilingual preferred (French-English)

Responsabilités professionnelles des représentants des ventes:

- Cultiver, entretenir et entretenir le territoire établi en Ontario, au Canada.
- Servir les comptes existants, obtenir des commandes et établir de nouveaux comptes en planifiant et en organisant l'horaire de travail quotidien pour appeler les comptes courants et potentiels. (50% clients existants+50% développement de marché)
- Ajuste le contenu des présentations de vente en analysant le type de client
- Tenir la direction informée en soumettant des rapports d'activités et de résultats, tels que des rapports d'appels quotidiens, des plans de travail hebdomadaires et des analyses de territoire et des budgets mensuels et annuels.
- Surveille la concurrence en recueillant des informations actuelles sur le marché sur les prix, les produits, les nouveaux produits, les calendriers de livraison et les techniques de marchandisage.
- Recommande des changements dans les produits, les services et les politiques en évaluant les résultats et les développements concurrentiels.
- Résout les plaintes des clients en enquêtant sur les problèmes, en développant des solutions, en préparant des rapports et en faisant des recommandations aux clients en fonction des recommandations du laboratoire.
- Maintenir les connaissances professionnelles et techniques en assistant à des ateliers éducatifs, en examinant des publications professionnelles, en établissant des réseaux personnels et en participant à des sociétés professionnelles.
- Contribue à l'effort d'équipe en accomplissant des résultats connexes au besoin. Qualifications et compétences des représentants des ventes:
