**The Opportunity**

The Account Manager provides sales and service activities related to the assigned territory of customers to ensure that established sales objectives are achieved for that territory. They will model the Peak Values and behaviors to achieve service excellence, meet and exceed organizational objectives, and support fiscal responsibility.

**Responsibilities**
- Visit accounts on a regular basis and help build the assigned territory by servicing existing clients and pursuing new opportunities.
- Actively secure new item listings with retailers to maximize product mix and margin opportunity for the account.
- Advise Buyers, Category managers, and store personnel on New Brands, Line extensions, and available promotional opportunities.
- Assist in the development of store planograms, execute product refresh initiatives, and store resets to increase brand presence.
- Improve and grow sales by securing additional retail space for goods through cross-merchandising, setting up POP material, end cap placement, and ensuring accounts are supplied with product literature/brochures.
- Support account when required by replacing defective, expired, and discontinued products with fresh stock.
- Regularly conduct store inventories and cross reference counts with sales reports to determine sales velocity, monthly forecasts, and product gaps to maximize sales.
- Hit forecasted sales targets set for your territory. (Overall, Brand and by Account)
- When needed, conduct staff training for accounts or arrange product knowledge sessions between account and brand educators.
- Work with head off to support accounts with delivery issues, credit & inventory availability requests, and any other service-related matter to ensure the highest level of customer service.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly tracking of store execution and promotional sell-through.
- Attend promotional and grand openings to help educate customers and employees about Peak products.
- Set up yearly marketing plans with accounts and relay appropriate info to the Head office to ensure proper coordination and execution of plans.
- Assist in all regional trade shows, sales meetings, and demos when needed.
- Maintain flow of customer records and documents including purchase orders, credit approvals, and follow up on credit issues as required.
- Communicate information to appropriate departments and management regarding competitive products, market trends, changes in accounts, and territory status in an expedient manner.

Education and Experience:

- 3-5 years of successful sales experience
- Secondary education, preferably in Business

Required Qualifications:

- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- A Strong work ethic, hunter mentality, love for sales, and the drive to get out in the field and support existing businesses and/or pursue new businesses daily.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to use a consultative sales approach
- A customer-centric orientation and excellent relationship-building skills.
- A positive, energetic attitude, Initiative, drive, and out of box thinking.
- Understanding of the P&L process.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
