**Salary**: $85,272.00 per annum, _with annual increases as per our collective bargaining agreement_

In this role, you will:

- Be at the heart of SHARE’s industry-leading engagement program. You will craft and execute strategies to create transformative change in corporate Canada and support SHARE’s mission to build a sustainable, inclusive and productive economy.
- You will use your advocacy prowess to drive change and lead collaborative initiatives with allied investors.
- Lead a small staff team, working within a high-impact, mission-driven not-for-profit.

**THE OPPORTUNITY: MANAGER, SHAREHOLDER ADVOCACY**
You will be a pivotal figure in SHARE’s corporate engagement program. Some of your primary responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating work, training and technical assistance for the Decent Work & Human Rights engagement team to maximize the effectiveness of SHARE’s program;
- Supervising day-to-day work of a small project team;
- Recommending company, sector and theme-specific strategies, targets, outcomes, timing, focus and activities for engagements related to Indigenous rights and reconciliation and broader human rights initiatives;
- Planning and facilitating project team meetings and discussions;
- Maintaining ongoing, constructive engagement relationships with company personnel, government and regulatory officials;
- Leading collaborative work with allied investors, including developing common agendas and shared priorities;
- Cultivating and maintain relationships with and monitoring developments from engagement partners, allied investors, funders, and relevant stakeholder groups, and experts in relevant fields;
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging issues and trends related to SHARE’s thematic areas;
- Designing and overseeing project-related research frameworks, methodology and project instructions for analysts;
- Working collaboratively with the engagement research team to propose a research program to support new and emerging engagement objectives;
- Ensuring that project activity is properly documented and electronic records maintained.

- Have experience working collaboratively with rights-holders, and particularly with Indigenous people in the Canadian context;
- Are an action-oriented risk taker, who enjoys working on different projects at the same time

- Possess excellent analytical skills, political savvy, and sound judgement;
