Job Posting - Office Administrator - Bookkeeper

Grizzly Excavating is currently seeking a motivated individual to assist us in the role of bookkeeper / office administrator. We are searching for someone who is friendly, fun, and detailed oriented to cover a short-term medical leave position.

While this position is only temporary, it may develop into a permanent full or part time position.

Some duties of this position include but are not limited to:

- AR & AP entries into Sage100 Contractor accounting software
- Daily payroll time entries & generating bi-weekly payroll
- Reconciliation of bank and credit card statements
- Government return and remittance preparation and filings
- Reviewing and acting on government issued assessments, notices, and statements
- Annual preparation of T4’s, and ROE's as required
- Annual preparation of year-end financials for accountant
- Sharing administrative duties with other staff (answering phones, greeting customers, answering questions, etc.)
- Strong data entry and word processing skills including a knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Bookkeeping duties will be shared with our other bookkeeper in the office. We would prefer the applicant to have experience in all accounting requirements, but we are also willing to train the right applicant. A great attitude and aptitude to learn new skills would be considered an asset.

Compensation will be dependent on experience, skills, and scheduled work hours.
