**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Conduct account reconciliations
- Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and PeopleSoft
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with financial auditing is a plus
- Understanding of budgeting processes
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience as an accounting clerk is advantageous
