Recruitment and Compliance Coordinator

**Job Overview**:
The Recruitment and Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new **drivers** in the Seaport Group’s fleet. They are responsible for enhancing the overall driver experience, maintaining compliance, and promoting a culture of health & safety in order to ensure the efficient, safe and compliant operation of Seaport’s fleet.

**Duties**:

- Represent Seaport at job fairs, trade shows and other relevant events to enhance the company’s visibility among potential drivers.
- Verify driver qualifications, including licences, driving records and previous employment history.
- Review and explain Seaport compensation packages for new driver hires.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for newly hired drivers, ensuring all necessary paperwork, training and orientation activities are completed.
- Collaborate with various departments to facilitate a smooth integration of new drivers in the organization.
- Schedule and conduct orientation sessions to familiarize drivers with company policies, procedures and safety protocols.
- Ensure driver has signed off on the Driver safety manual and has been given a knowledge test on the manual.
- Collaborate with safety compliance coordinator with regard to driver compliance with pre/post trip inspection.
- Current copy of CVOR and DL abstract as well as ensuring driver truck manuals have up to date permits, licensing and insurance documents.
- Update the data related to equipment/driver compliance to TenStreet.
- Maintain driver files and perform audits.
- Update all UIIA and Port RFID tags.
- Maintain and acquire trucking permits.
- Handle all queries from drivers and facilitate to departments.
- Handle all pre employment and random drug tests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities including updating recruitment funnel.
- Generate reports on relevant recruitment metrics, including time-to
- fill & source reports.
- Perform monthly compliance audits on driver files.

**Qualifications**:

- College or University Diploma.
- Minimum 1 year of recruitment experience required.
- Compliance experience as an asset.
- Experience in the trucking industry as an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Organized, detailed, team player.
- Strong communication skills required.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
