Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our team. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

**Duties**:

- Assisting in onboarding and Drivers' training/orientation.
- overseeing the maintenance of all the trucks and trailers as per company PM policy.
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, provincial, and US laws and DOT regulations.
- Updating company policies in accordance with new DOT / MTO Regulations as needed.
- Enforce company policies with Drivers.
- Take disciplinary actions when policies are violated assisted by the HR department.
- Monitor and review ELD compliance and accuracy.
- Detect and correct any driver-related ELD issues.
- Manage and supervise all trucks and trailers have all related documents, authorities, permits, and plates updated in the document binder.
- Manage and keep track of all PM, Inspection & Repair status of equipment
- Monitor and enforce Drug and Alcohol Policy.
- Manage and monitor Accidents, related claims, disputing violations & tickets.
- Coordinate repairs with mechanics and ensure costs are being minimized.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in safety coordination or related field preferred
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to fabricate training materials for safety programs
- Experience in training development is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
