**Location**: Etobicoke

**Wage**:$33.00/hour for 40 hours/week

**This is NOT a Bargaining Unit Position.**

**Scope**

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**_:_**
- Work closely with managers to gain comprehensive understanding of hiring needs
- Manage full cycle recruitment process
- Partner with HR team to refine/update recruitment documents
- Develop and release job postings on platforms, such as social media and job boards
- Perform reference checks
- Facilitate the offer process, including background checks and medical (as needed)
- Manage onboarding and new hire process
- Maintain digital copies of recruiting records
- Assist in development and maintenance of job descriptions, including physical demands analysis
- Responsible and accountable for the smooth operation of recruitment in conjunction with HR Director
- Ensures all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and collective bargaining agreement
- Performs other projects and duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Degree/diploma in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience and knowledge, preferably in non-profit sector
- RPR designation or working towards, active member of APRC
- Experience developing recruitment strategies, interview techniques
- Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with variety of stakeholders
- Detail-oriented and resourceful self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Strong time management, organizational, multi-tasking, and problem solving skills
- Able to work both independently with mínimal supervision and effectively with other team members
- Excellent ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer literacy and willingness to improve skills
- Strong and highly developed administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Possesses a valid Class G driver’s license and access to vehicle

**Other requirements**
- A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check (completed when an offer is made)
