**Title**: Director, Innovation & Architecture Services
**Salary**: $122,641 - $144,283 - $165,926 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 37.5 hours/week (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
**Location**: Metro Vancouver Area: Sinclair Office - Coast Salish Territories of Muusqueam Nations (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy).

**About the role**
As Director, Innovation & Architecture Services, you will be responsible for driving technological innovation and ensuring the architectural integrity of FNHA’s information systems and technologies. This role is instrumental in aligning technology and digital enablement initiatives with FNHA’s mission to improve health outcomes for First Nations communities across British Columbia.

Reporting to senior leadership, the Director provides visionary direction for the design, development, and implementation of innovative technology solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, strategic planning, and the ability to lead diverse teams in delivering impactful and culturally informed solutions that respect the values and needs of the communities FNHA serves.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have/be:
**Education**
- University degree in the field of computer science or management information systems or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

**Occupational Certification**
- TOGAF 9 is required
- CCNP, CCNA, CCDA, MCSE or other related level certifications is preferred
- ITIL Certification is preferred

**Experience**
- Minimum of 10+ years’ experience managing high-performing technology teams.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and execution of large-scale technology initiatives.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Network/Data Centre Architecture and deploying a highly complex and segmented networks and multiple Data Centres and cloud with a focus on security.
- Experience leading technical teams in large technical projects in an enterprise environment.
- Experience in assessing customer requirements, architectural policy, procedures and standards, and implementing technical and business solutions.
- Experience with Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) and hybrid cloud.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise security best practices.

**Knowledge / Skills**
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, cloud computing, and data analytics.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the BC healthcare system and First Nations health system(s) is considered an asset
- Proven skills in developing strategic system architecture plans.
- Ability to provide coaching and leadership to team managers, technical staff and consultants.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal), time management, and interpersonal skills required.
- Significant importance is the ability to work well in a team environment (within IMIT and outside of IMIT), with a mature and well-rounded interpersonal skill set, attitude and proven experience in building collaboration.
- Experience conducting technology, trends, standards and products research.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of key issues and opportunities for BC First Nations health and wellness.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
