Oral Health (OH) services just joined Primary Health Care & Virtual Services (PHC&VS) and is new to our program, so exciting time to integrate OH Services into the PHC context. Regions are in implementation phase of 13 new First Nations Led Primary Health Care Centres (FNPCCs). Supporting a new Manager, PHC Implementation Supports to build a team that can work with FNHA regional teams and staff in the new FNPCCs provides an opportunity to create a team-based model of care that is inclusive of traditional primary health care and traditional wellness services.
**Title**: Director, Primary Health Care and Oral Health
**Salary**: $122,641 - $144,283 - $165,926 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 37.5 hrs Monday
- Friday, normal office hours 8:30am-4:30pm (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
**Location**: Metro Vancouver office - Alberni office, on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. Hybrid working in line with FNHA’s flex work policy. (Hybrid - minimum 50% in the office).
**About the role**
As Director, Primary Health Care and Oral Health, you will have a key and exciting role in supporting FNHA to enhance and adapt the vision for Primary Health Care. This is a new position and an exciting aspect to this role is the opportunity to provide direction to the operations of the Oral Health program, while also working with other programs in Health Benefits and Services and the FNHA Regions to shape the supports to primary health care service delivery models such as the First Nations Led Primary Health Care Centers (FNPCCs). This is a strategic leadership role within the Health Services and Benefits department.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
**Education**
- Master’s Degree in a health-related discipline and minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in advancing and managing innovation and change in primary health care and/or Oral Health services.
**Experience**
- Provides direction and leadership to Oral Health services
- Provides direction and leadership in the development of a team that will support implementation and quality improvement of team-based, proactive, longitudinal culturally safe primary health care in FNHA, in a model that includes traditional wellness approaches.
- Provides strategic leadership within the Health Benefits and Services department to achieve departmental priorities, including integration across Health Benefits and Services to better meet the needs of First Nations people and communities
- Provides leadership for engagement with FNHA Regions and other FNHA departments to ensure alignment and collaboration in the implementation of primary health care models.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
