## Overview

# Responsibilities

Selling fitness equipment, supplies and related services to business and residential clients.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals
- Be active in the field, visit customers and help them to become (more) successful
- Open new accounts
- Consult and work out the best solution based on the customer’s needs
- Develop selected fitness centers, recreation centers and performance centers by proactive outreach
- Conduct online account research and account mapping for select target accounts
- Active on social media to share customer success and obtain market information
- Obtaining and updating knowledge of changing market conditions and competitors
- Providing prospective customers with information about the benefits of working with Forte Fitness and our manufactures and compiling strategies to meet those clients’ needs with the product offerings
- Continuous focus on improving product knowledge on our manufacturers product as well as our competitors to ensure prescription and managing strategic solutions for our clients are met
- Quotation and bid proposals, recording orders, and arranging deliveries
- Reporting to customers as to the order status of their orders and establishing clear communication lines and manage expectations
- Establishing and maintaining client pipeline based on territory and market
- Providing monthly sales reports on short term and long
- term prospects and creating strategies to keep those lines of communications open to ensure we are first to mind for consideration for the project
- Opening and closing store front, as well as meeting clients with any after hour needs
- Travel is required to Northern Alberta, trade shows and over-see larger installations
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM software to track sales activities and customer interactions
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients

# Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in technology or related industries
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- College or University Degree in Associated Business or Personal Fitness Training program
- Working in the training industry - maybe as a personal trainer, strength coach, club manager or as a sales representative.
- Proactive, commercial, and result driven team-player
- Enthusiastic and persistent
- Passionate about fitness and sports
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent negotiation skills to close deals successfully

Pay: $35,931.14-$150,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)

- 25% (preferred)
