As the Executive Assistant, Office of the Chief Investment Officer, you will play a key role in advancing our high-performance culture, by optimizing the time of our Chief Investment Officer. You will proactively manage workflows, take minutes of committee meetings - focused on recording decisions, streamline internal and external correspondence, triage calendar access, ensure meeting materials are available for preliminary review and analysis, and complete administrative tasks such as expenses, travel, and payroll reports. You will create an immediate impact by relying heavily on your adept problem-solving skills to manage high-priority and non-urgent items accordingly and ensure time is maximized for highest contribution.

**Responsibilities**
- Managing intense calendar scheduling, preparations and coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements including airfare, accommodations, ground transportation and communication coverage
- Processing financial transactions including the organization and submission of expenses, payroll, training and development and vacation claims
- Taking effective minutes during committee meetings and other important events
- 10+ years of relevant experience is required
- Exceptional proficiency using Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. is required; Microsoft Power BI knowledge is helpful
- Experience processing accounts payable would be beneficial
- Refined communication skills, with exceptional writing and editing abilities; able to deliver concise messages to diverse audiences
- Solutions orientated with an ability to respond quickly to people and situations by exercising sound decision-making abilities

**Success Measures**
You will achieve success within the first year by providing an outstanding office experience for the Chief Investment Officer based in our Edmonton office and identifying process improvements to further streamline the office workflows.
