The company you’ll work for, is an Edtech, training/consulting company that helps organizations and people to achieve their goals through software development project management training courses.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**Location**: This role is On-site (Victoria, British Columbia, Canada), but can also work in a remote set-up for the rest of Canada.

**What you'll do**
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
- Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
- Cultivate strong long-term customer relationships; from first contact until you close the deal.
- Ensure proper after-sales service.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
- Report to the CEO on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
- Links to marketing strategy critical goals identified in the sales strategy.
- Helps to prepare, organize, and file sales, contract, and marketing documentation.

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
- **+1** YoE of proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role.
- BSc degree or similar training/experience in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls).
- Proficient with Office 365, familiarity with Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce), LinkedIn Navigator and Lead finding platforms.
- Track record of achieving sales quotas. Understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly proficient in English. **For non-native English applicants**, **C1-C2 English fluency is** **a must.**:

- Team-orientated and able to work semi-autonomously.
- Organized and detail-orientated.
- Skilled collaborator.
- EdTech landscape experience is **a bonus.**

**BENEFIT**
- 22k base (C$) for a day work week, plus commission-based sales targets additional (40k or more).
- 4 days of work per week (Monday - Thursday).

**Salary**: $22,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
