Accounts Payable Coordinator

PRINCIPAL FOCUS:
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and indirectly to Controller of Vistek, the incumbent in the role of Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for administrative duties and payments of Accounts Payable invoices and expenses. Working with the Accounting team interfaces with various departments including, Purchasing, Warehouse, Retail Store & Rentals Management, the Service Department, Executive Team and Vendors to process payments associated with inventory purchases and company expenses.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Responsible for entering Payable invoices for inventory payments and expense related payments in Navision
- Issues Electronic Fund Transfers and cheque payments for Accounts Payable invoices
- Works with internal stakeholders to resolve inventory shipping and returns/exchange discrepancies to ensure accurate invoicing and payments
- Prepare service repair reports for associated repair invoice payments
- Responsible for processing credit memos/returns
- Accountable for posting inventory exchange/replacements
- Generate Service Reports copy and distribute as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ year’s background in an Accounting Accounts Payable
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Experience working with Navision is an assets.
- Advanced excel skills
- Understanding of retail operations
