We are looking for a full-time contract-based Human Resources Administrator. This contract position will be eligible for the benefits that full-time employees receive. The contract will be effective from January 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026 (18 months).

**Summary of Position**

The Human Resources Administrator will be a support to our Human Resources department and Reception. The position will be first point of contact for HR- related queries from employees and walk-in clients. You are a people person who has a positive outlook, can manage daily HR tasks as required and provide continuous improvement ideas. **Duties and Responsibilities**

In this position, you will be responsible for the following:
**Administrator Duties**
- Greeting everyone who enters Sunrise and directing them in their inquiries. You are the face of the company.
- Answering and greeting all phone calls in a timely manner and directing these calls to the appropriate personnel
- Managing the day-to-day office activities to ensure everyone including yourself is having a great day
- Keeping your space neat and tidy

**Human Resources**
- Organize and maintain personnel records in electronic database
- Updating internal databases (Access HR database, Synerion)
- Preparing HR documents (employment contracts, safety orientation, new hire guides, letter of employment, etc.)
- Recruiting and onboarding new hires
- Revise and update company policies
- Create and maintain HR metric reports
- Answering employees’ queries about HR- related issues
- Participate in HR projects (job fair events, presentations, trainings, event planning etc.)

**Employment Requirements**
- Post-secondary certificate or Degree in Human Resources
- Can legally work in Canada
- Proficient in English, written and verbal
- Knowledge of Employment Standards Act
- Approachable, helpful and demonstrate a people personality

**Skills and Experience**
- Proficient in organizational skills and ability to prioritize important projects
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Experience with working with computers and knowledge of MS office
- Ability to multitask
- Good ethical judgement and experience in conflict management
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential

Full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
