**Position Summary**

The Manager will demonstrate a proven record of strong clinical supervision and ethical decision-making, particularly in situations of client risk. This position requires the ability to identify potentially contentious situations and to mediate and resolve conflict at the earliest opportunity. The Manager will monitor and be accountable for program goals and statistics across several funding bodies and learn to demonstrate proficiency in relevant databases.

The Manager will demonstrate human resources skills by participating in hiring and by interpreting the collective agreement. The Manager will represent the agency in the community and engage with the broader service sector. The Manager will contribute to the implementation of the agency’s Vision and Values. Broader clinical knowledge will be an asset since the manager will be trained to assume back up responsibilities in Developmental Services, Employee and Family Assistance Programs and Sexual Assault/Violence Against Women services.

**Qualifications**
- HBA, HBSW and post graduate training/experience, MA or MSW in social sciences
- Formal training or experience specific to clinical supervision (in keeping with CRPO/OCSWSSW/CNO expectations)
- Addictions/Concurrent Disorders training and familiarity with the addictions screening/assessment tools.
- Ability to quickly learn and supervise the intake process for all programs.
- Registration with a professional college that grants the privilege to practice psychotherapy in the province of Ontario.
- Negotiation skills that are applied across teams, internally and external to the agency.
- Ability to prioritize work, pre-screen and triage client assignments, as well as multi-task in a busy environment.
- Ability to be trained for additional supervisory duties in Walk In clinic, in addition to back up responsibilities with Violence Against Women (VAW), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Sexual Assault, PAR/PIP/Changing Patterns and the Developmental Services Program.
- Bilingualism desirable.
- Knowledge of feminism/EDI is required
- Understanding of the calls to action of the TRC, and ability to work with people of Indigenous heritage and a proven ability to provide a culturally safe environment.
