The Office of the Registrar supports and celebrates student success. We provide students and the campus community with support through the distribution of key information, high-quality service delivery and the maintenance of essential systems and processes. Our dedicated staff work in a myriad of areas including Student Recruitment, Admissions, Academic Records, Convocation, Customer Service, Fees, Financial Aid, Registration & Course Scheduling, Reporting, Student Systems, and Transfer Services at both our North and Lakeshore campuses. **Position Title**:Manager, Data Analysis and Reporting

**Status**:Full Time Administration

**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week

**Faculty/Department**:Office of the Registrar

**Campus/Location**:North Campus (must be comfortable working hybrid, a minimum of three (3) days on-site).

**Salary**: (Min) $82,728 - (Max) $103,411

**What you will do**:
Under the direction of the Deputy Registrar, Academic Services, the Manager, Data Analysis and Reporting provides leadership to the reporting team in the Office of the Registrar. The incumbent manages data and analysis activities which provide information to support the institution’s planning, policy formulation, and decision making in order to further the institution’s strategic plan. The incumbent is responsible for the provision of expertise in a diverse range of data analytics functions including data collection, data integration, data reporting, analysis, interpretation and data visualization.

The Manager, Data Analysis and Reporting, contributes to the development of analytic strategy for the business units and oversees implementation of activities to achieve strategic success. This position requires a high degree of knowledge of analytic data holdings and methodology and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external. In addition, the incumbent will make recommendations to continuously grow Humber’s analytics and data management functionality using industry standards and emerging technologies. The incumbent requires strong technical and interpersonal skills to support data collection, analysis and reporting, presenting on data trends, the development of consistent data quality metrics and the implementation of related data controls for institutional reporting, operational reporting and Ministry/audit reporting.

- Experience leading, motivating/coaching, and supervising staff. Managerial experience in a unionized environment would be considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and problem-solving skills, and demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and proactive planning. Ability to showcase tact and diplomacy in liaising and working with external stakeholders from the public and private sectors.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with all members of the college community, including senior administrators.
- Several years’ experience working in a post-secondary institution (e.g. Office of the Registrar or Institutional Research) would be an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and translate complex information and data sets for varied uses and diverse audiences, and produce information for multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional planning, analytical, organizational and strategic-thinking skills.
- Ability to initiate, develop, and maintain partnerships and relationships in order to facilitate collaborative and innovative approaches to business planning.
