Business Development Representative

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Seek and qualify leads across our various sectors
- Conduct thorough discovery calls, acting as a first point of contact for new potential partners
- Present products and services and sell our value proposition
- Participate directly in sales cycle - converting leads into opportunities
- Proactively and creatively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Schedule demos for the Account Executive team
- Create and maintain accurate lead information and detailed records in CRM
templates, social media posts, and other content Engage with internal stakeholders to remain informed on new products and services Work closely with Sales and Marketing Teams to refine sales strategy
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Someone who is passionate about sales and wants to grow. Ideally, this person in 12-18 months would develop into an Account Executive, Customer Success, BDR Team Lead, or other roles within the organization
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport quickly
- Experience within the hospitality or retail industry is an asset
- Someone who is hungry, doesn't mind getting out there. Rejection? What’s rejection? They don't let “no's” deter them. It only motivates them more, and no's just mean "no for now"
- Someone with a strong social media presence through LinkedIn or other similar platforms, content creation is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills - This includes public speaking abilities and a great phone presence
