We are a Family business selling mid range to high end Barbecues, Heaters, Fire Pits, Outdoor kitchens and repair parts. We are looking for people who like to work hard and have fun while doing it.

We are a busy seasonal business looking for year round Assistant managers to train and develop now for the 2023 Barbecue season. This is a full time position with limited people to supervise prior to Spring 2023. The first 6 months will be our off season and will be primarily sales, reporting, merchandising and training.

**Duties include**

Sales and Merchandising

Maintaining delivery dispatch board

Ensuring accuracy of invoices

Ensuring customer satisfaction

POS system reporting
- Incoming inventory reports
- Current open orders reports
- Back order reports
- Outstanding invoice reports

Opening/Closing

End of day Cash outs

**Assistant Manager position reports to Owner/Operator for**
- Scheduling maintenance (tracking hours)
- Staff performance evaluations
- Staff accountability

**Assistant manager supported by Owner/Operator with**
- Coaching and development
- Product knowledge
- training on POS and reporting
- Technical assistance
- Staff issues

**Required Experience**

Love of food/cooking

minimum 5 years retail experience

minimum 1 year key holder or mgmt. position

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Retail supervisor/key holder: 1 year (required)

Work Location: In person
