**Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist**
**Reports to: VP of Marketing**

**Position Summary**

**Main Responsibilities**
- Manage outbound and inbound marketing activities utilizing your expertise in various areas including content development and optimization, advertising, events planning, and product launches.
- Lead bi-weekly marketing meetings to discover potential marketing opportunities and execute marketing initiatives.
- Actively collaborate with internal teams to develop each brand’s reputation online, improving conversion rates and generating leads.
- Partner with Nova’s subsidiary marketing teams to coordinate brand and marketing efforts and lead the coordination and execution of a social media strategy.
- Update content, pages, and images on the subsidiary websites as requested by the marketing teams ensuring you are adhering to SEO best practices.
- Partner with the Company’s in-house Web Developers on all website development initiatives from concept to design and launch.
- Lead, define, and oversee the implementation of the SEO/SEM strategy by using research and analysis tools to improve keyword rankings on search engines.
- Working with each subsidiary, track and analyze the performance of all digital campaigns by using analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4 and look at various data sources to ensure ongoing optimization.
- Track, and report on website and social media performance monthly, making recommendations for improvement.

**Technical Skills**
- Experience in deploying and managing digital marketing projects of all sizes.
- Excellent knowledge and technical competence in working within the front and back end of WordPress
- based websites.
- Ability to create high-quality designs for marketing collateral and websites using Adobe Creative Suites products such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD, and Premiere.
- Excellent computer skills and high proficiency with MS Office.
- Experience in creating and editing video content for use on websites, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Portfolio of experience with social media - blogging, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube.
- Understanding UX design principles to provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users.
- Experience with launching paid advertising campaigns using platforms such as Google AdWords and

LinkedIn.
- Strong knowledge of web analytics and in particular Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
- Ability to author, present, and interpret routine reports and correspondence.
- Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation software.

**Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist or similar role.
- Degree in marketing and/or communications preferred, equivalent experience will be considered.
- Familiarity with marketing in technical and/or scientific industries is a plus.

**Aptitudes**
- Comfortable interacting and partnering with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Must be someone who not only “leads” but also serves and gets into the details.
- Must have excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills.
- Comfortable providing and taking constructive input from multiple sources.
- Must be able to multitask as well as be superiorly organized, detailed oriented, and deadline driven.
- You are a “go-getter”, your DNA includes commercial awareness, a growth “mindset” and unlimited creativity.
- Communication expert - internal and external contacts, methods, tact, and cultural sensitivity - the ability to “dig in” and translate technical content into compelling messaging.

**Company Background**

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
