**MISSION**

The Sales & Marketing Specialist is a key role that applies creative and inventive thinking to sales and marketing strategies by building strategic community partnerships and researching customer trends to market the organization competitively in the retirement living space.

The Pod Group is partnering with this organization to place a creative and results-driven leader to fulfill the role of the Sales & Marketing Specialist.

**PRIORITIES**
- Assist the Director of Operations in the design, development, and implementation of the overall marketing strategy for the facility in conjunction with the Sales Team.
- Work collaboratively with all organizational departments to provide ongoing support and execution of marketing activities that support occupancy. This includes the design and production of a variety of communication and marketing materials, including websites, social media, videos, and blogs for an external audience.
- Meet with potential buyers and/or family members, prepare for and conduct tours, respond to inquiries, and finalize sales.
- Establish initial communication and rapport between potential/new residents, family members and direct care staff to ensure a smooth transition to the organization.

**Requirements**:
**TALENTS & EXPERTISE**
- A minimum of five years experience in a sales and marketing role is required, with proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Previous experience developing and executing marketing plans is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with experience working with seniors and/or in a healthcare setting.
- Must possess an ability to relate well with people and deliver exemplary customer service.
- Proficient with technology, including Office 365 and CRMs (Customer Relationship Management systems), is required.
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, multi-task, problem solve and work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Available to work evenings and weekend hours is a requirement of this position.
