Business Development / Lead Generation

**Scope**

The Business Development will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging high-growth entrepreneurs interested in expanding globally, primarily focusing on promoting TBDC & BHive SUV programs.

**Key Responsibilities**

Strategic Development & Execution:
2. Ensure alignment of lead generation efforts with the overarching business development goals of TBDC.

Outreach & Engagement:
1. Initiate exploratory calls with prospective entrepreneurs to understand their needs, challenges, and interest in TBDC & BHive programs.

2. Nurture relationships with Indian companies, showcasing Ontario as an attractive growth destination and fostering partnerships.

Lead Management & Reporting:
1. Manage and track leads through TBDC's CRM, ensuring smooth progression and timely follow-ups.

2. Create and maintain activity reports to track outreach efforts, lead conversion rates, and overall program performance.

Communication & Collaboration:
1. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure alignment of business development efforts with organizational objectives.

2. Participate in regular meetings with the line manager to discuss progress, identify improvement areas, and strategize future initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

2. 1-2 years experience in business development, lead generation, or sales, preferably in a startup or entrepreneurial environment.

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

4. Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.

5. Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management tools would be advantageous.

Contract Length: 12 months, with a 3-month probationary period.
