Atlohsa Family Healing Services is a non-profit, charitable organization, dedicated to strengthening community through Indigenous-led programs and services that offer wholistic healing and wellness. The **Executive Assistant** provides administrative support and assistance to the Directors’ Circle, which leads the overall agency operations including program administration and community supports. The Executive Assistant is a member of the administration team and vital to the success and growth of Atlohsa Family Healing Services.

**Role and Responsibility**

Supporting the Directors’ Circle and reporting to the Director of Technology and Administration, the Executive Assistant ensures agency goals, including reports to funder, are completed in a timely manner. The Executive Assistant takes minutes during meetings and prepares meeting agenda and assists with scheduling as required. The Executive Assistant drafts, edits and distributes time-sensitive correspondence and maintains professionalism and strict confidentiality at all times. The Executive Assistant attends monthly Board meetings and prepares Board meeting packages. The Executive Assistant will work to ensure that Atlohsa Family Healing Services is a safe space for all community members accessing services and programming.

**Suitability**
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the languages, traditional ways, history and cultures of the Indigenous population in the London region
- Current knowledge of Indigenous community services and resources
- Impeccable with details and commitment to quality.
- Demonstrated ability to receive training support, supervision and direction
- Demonstrated strengths in interpersonal relations, problem-solving, crisis intervention, group dynamics, community development and other innovative approaches
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong editing and proofreading capability.
- Post Secondary Education, certification in Administration or equivalent work experience required.
- 2+ years experience in an Executive Assistant or Sr. Administrative role required.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
- Effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with others in a respectful manner as defined in the Atlohsa Code of Conduct
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License, First Aid and CPR certificate and Current Vulnerable Sector Check
- Job is onsite in downtown London, Ontario.

**EMPLOYMENT TERM**: Full-time Permanent

**REMUNERATION**: Commensurate to experience
