**ACCOUNTS PAYABLE**
- Verify and enter employee travel expense report in Costpoint A/P
- Ensure receipts are attached and reconciled to expense reports
- Enter A/P vouchers into accounting system as per accounting policies and procedures.
- Identify vendors to be paid.
- Prepare cheque run and secure approval from Controller.
- Send payment advice after payments released.
- Clearing Accounts Payable cheques after payments released.
- Prepare vouchers for courier, corporate cards, intercompany invoices, and others.

**ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE**
- **Cash Applications (IHSI)**:

- Login to bank website and e-file incoming wires & bank statements.
- Inquire with bank if no information for incoming wires or direct deposits.
- Enter, review and post deposits into accounting system. This includes cheques, cash, direct deposits, wire and credit card payments and dealing with currency exchanges (including payments in wrong currency)
- Inform Credit and Collections Analyst of errant payments
- Creating and maintaining the cash receipt files

**Miscellaneous AR Duties**
- Accounts Receivable adjustments for bad debts and small uncollectible amounts

**REPORT PREPARATION**
- **Monthly Reports and Procedures**:

- Prepare Accounts Receivable Aging Reports and graph
- Update retainer/prepayment logs for retainer reclass
- Assist in Reconciling Billed A/R accounts and “A/R - Other” accounts
- Update Fixed Assets and Prepaid Expenses lead sheets with monthly additions.

**MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES**
- Assist with monthly and year-end file archiving/storage
- Assist the rest of the Accounting Department, as required
- Reset employee timesheet passwords upon request.
- Report weekly bank balances
- **Back up for Credit Checks**:

- Submit request with our recent payment history.
- Review each client’s payment history for trends
- **Checking and posting A/P vouchers**
