We are looking for a full-time **Accounts Payable Clerk **in Torontowith a minimum of 4 years’ experience; law firm experience is not required. Reporting to the Accounting and Assistant Accounting Managers, some of the Accounts Payable Clerk responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with posting disbursements on a timely basis, carrying out the EFT process weekly, assisting the in-office accounting team roles when called in person, helping the accounting team with banking reconciliations for both general and trust, processing payments for clients on a daily basis, and processing trust charts daily during non-billing periods.
- Post-secondary education or diploma, preferably with a focus on accounting or similar program;
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Accounts Payable;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Strong critical thinking and good initiative;
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, busy environment;
- Strong organizational skills; and,
- The ability to adapt quickly and work with all members of the firm.
