As our Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our warehouse and ground operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to provide top-tier service to our customers, enhance operational performance, and drive the growth and success of our business. Your ability to streamline processes, manage resources effectively, and inspire your team will be key to achieving our goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Warehouse Management:_
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control.
- Onboard new customers and ensure smooth integration into our warehouse processes.
- Train, develop, and manage warehouse staff to foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Monitor employee hours and productivity, ensuring efficient scheduling and adherence to labor regulations.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse performance and customer satisfaction.
- Ground Operations Management:_
- Manage all aspects of dispatch and ground transportation operations, ensuring efficient routing and timely delivery of orders.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of GPS devices and ensure adherence to vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with drivers and dispatch staff to ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in compliance with customer requirements.
- Oversee the entire order lifecycle, from quoting to invoicing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at each stage.
- Onboard new customers and ensure seamless integration into our ground operations.
- Train and develop dispatch and ground operations staff to maintain high standards of service and safety.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:_
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those related to operating a bonded facility and managing PIP certification.
- Liaise with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and other regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintain a high level of quality assurance across all operations, with a focus on safety, security, and customer satisfaction.

- Experience with CargoWise or similar logistics management software.
- Familiarity with managing a bonded facility and experience dealing with the CBSA.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and regulatory bodies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
