Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to join our mortgage Brokerage. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our brokerage, ensuring efficiency and productivity across all departments. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, Enterpreneurial skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Planning**: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, including growth targets, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction goals.
- **Team Management**: Lead and manage a team of mortgage brokers, processors, and administrative staff. Provide guidance, support, and coaching to ensure the team's performance meets or exceeds expectations.
- **Compliance Oversight**: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing mortgage brokerage operations. Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and implement necessary policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. Implement changes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders. Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively. Implement risk management protocols to safeguard the business against financial, legal, and reputational risks.
- **Performance Monitoring and Reporting**: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the operational performance of the brokerage. Generate regular reports to evaluate performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
- **Vendor Management**: Manage relationships with external vendors, such as software providers, appraisers, and title companies. Negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure vendors adhere to agreed-upon terms and standards.
- **Technology Integration**: Stay abreast of technological advancements in the mortgage industry. Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve processes, enhance customer experience, and gain a competitive edge.
- **Continuing Education and Training**: Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development among staff members. Provide training opportunities to enhance their skills, knowledge, and expertise in mortgage lending and operations.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

Pay: $48,528.60-$60,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Mortgage Brokering: 5 years (required)
- Management: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Mortgage Agent Level 2 (required)
