**Summary of Position in Organization**

The Digital Marketing Specialist will provide marketing support and execute specific marketing activities to help drive Plymovent sales efforts in the North American market. To effectively leverage marketing efforts, the Digital Marketing Specialist will work back and forth with Plymovent Global marketing group based out of our headquarters in the Netherlands, Europe.

**Summary of Essential Job Functions**
- Drive all advertising and marketing efforts to generate leads for the sales team.
- Develop and execute a social media strategy to engage our followers and grow the audience for our evidence products and brand objectives.
- Manage and optimize social media channels by writing copy, developing graphics, and planning campaigns.
- Develop, post and schedule content and manage engagement across our social media channels using social media management software.
- Develop and maintain an integrated social media content calendar incorporating organic and paid posts and campaigns.
- Develop and execute paid social media campaigns, in alignment with the marketing budget.
- Monitor performance, evaluate results, and provide regular marketing reports and analyses.
- Continually improve online promotional experience and execution by utilizing website enhancements, customer feedback/reviews, sales data, site metrics and other sources.
- Develop a strong understanding of internal merchandising and web systems to troubleshoot system/process issues.
- Support merchandising and marketing online and mobile promotional activity by setting up and maintaining promotional bundles/pages.
- Support merchandising strategy and maximize sales potential by utilizing website merchandising tools to drive cross-sells, upsells, substitutes, extended warranties, etc.
- Maintain website product taxonomy - working with SEO, search, analytics, content and merchandising to ensure consistent execution and optimal customer experience.
- Responsible for supporting the sales team with all e-commerce related activities, including monitoring e
- commerce pricing.
- Develop a tracking method to establish an uplift in sales based on activities.
- Maintain homepage navigation links updating as needed to support changing business needs or strategies.
- Work to create a “Paid Search” program with dealers and partners.
- Collaborate with customer marketing teams to establish relationships and activities around social media events supporting our brands.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Minimum Professional and Educational Requirements**
- Completion of post-secondary education in a related field such as digital media, public relations, journalism, web design or communications, coupled with recent associated experiences, usually attained over a period of three years or more.
- Strong digital literacy and a natural curiosity that helps you stay knowledgeable on emerging trends and tools in the social media and e-marketing spaces.
- Excellent writing and editorial skills, extensive experience with social media copywriting and a proven ability to adapt tone and content based on the audience and campaign objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to independently create high-quality and engaging text, image and video-based content that engages and motivates diverse audiences.
- Proven experience in lead generation and fulfillment, database management; implementing effective direct marketing campaigns; developing and maintaining a solid internet presence; coordinating and setting up trade shows/sales events; creating effective advertising & brand awareness campaigns; supporting sales efforts.
- Significant knowledge of and experience with Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or other social media management tools and the ability to ensure adherence to corporate policies around data management, privacy, accessibility, etc.
- Strong working knowledge of WordPress, Illustrator, Canva or other graphic design software.
- Database and CRM programs; desktop publishing (DTP) skills, i.e. Adobe InDesign; web content and search engine optimization; and office systems (PowerPoint/Excel/Access).
- Strong understanding of paid advertising fundamentals and working knowledge of the Google Ads platform and retargeting.
- Familiarity with web analytics platforms and best practices for reporting.
- Superior proofreading skills coupled with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills with the proven ability to balance and deliver on multiple projects.
- Results-driven, proactive, positive attitude with excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
