Ecommerce Account Manager

**SUMMARY**
The Ecommerce Account Manager, plays a critical role in managing sales, assortments, promotions, events, marketing activities, and channel strategy across all digital retail online ecommerce channels. This role focuses on driving sales growth, optimizing content, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), and leading initiatives to enhance the online customer experience and increase category sales.
**RESPONSIBILITES**
- **Account Management**:
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at a portfolio of online channel partners.
- Uses business acumen and market insight to create scenarios that drive business with each account.
- Represent Mercana Furniture & Decor professionally and positively
- **Sales and Assortment Management**:
- Understand current and prospective retail ecommerce trends, issues, and buying motives.
- Maximize product assortment to achieve maximum sales results.
- Analyze business KPIs to gain insights into customer behavior and preferences and develop action plans to optimize sales.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and expertise in products and categories.
- ** Cross-functional Collaboration**:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Design, Marketing, IT, Customer Experience, and Warehouse to enhance online experiences.
- Provide insights and proposals for best-in-class online sales, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Recommend enhancements to Mercana content for online use and other customer channels.
- **Pricing Management**:
- Manage Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) and Manufacturer Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) for the online channel.
- Utilize web analytics to make data-driven decisions and analyze the effectiveness of online campaigns.
- **Forecasting and Reporting**:
- Provide purchasing forecasts for key selling items and major promotional events.
- Deliver detailed monthly and quarterly results overviews to management.
- **Market Monitoring and Analysis**:
- Monitor reports for market share, visitation, and revenue performance from major search channels.
- Identify new opportunities and address any concerns promptly.
- **Special Projects and Compliance**:
- Attend trade shows to build rapport with ecommerce buyers and support other customers.
- Take a lead role in special projects aimed at enhancing multi-channel customer experience and achieving sales goals.
- Ensure compliance with packaging, quality, and speed-to-market standards.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 2- 3 years proven experience in ecommerce sales management or account management role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in web analytics tools. Proficiency in PowerBI preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Willingness to travel as required for trade shows and customer visits.
