**What are we looking for?**

We are seeking a talented **Proposal Lead** to join our Marketing + Communications team. You will play a key role in proposal management and client development by providing leadership or support on a variety of business development initiatives, ranging from highly strategic RFPs and proposals to fee proposals and ASAs. Your primary focus will be on driving end-to-end proposal development and working with the team to manage the intake, prioritization, and completion of proposals to support our studio.

You are a self-starter who takes ownership and drives the proposal process while developing creative solutions to tackle challenges and enhance our brand. Often working to tight deadlines, this is a dynamic and extremely collaborative position that involves working closely with the Marketing + Communications team, our Finance Department, CFO, Partners, and teams across the studio. As a key part of our business development strategy, attention to detail, processes, reporting, and organization is essential. This is a hybrid role with four days required in the studio.

**Primary responsibilities include**:

- Understanding our client needs to develop technically accurate and compelling responses to all types of proposals and RFPs that reflect our brand, voice, and standards.
- On a specific RFPs, you will manage the end-to-end process, starting with leading a kickoff meeting to define our value proposition. This will involve interpreting RFP requirements, establishing a project schedule, assigning tasks to teams, and providing overall support to the proposal development team to ensure deadlines are met.
- You will lead and manage the proposal process which includes assembling and reviewing proposals drafts, editing material, and ensuring final formatting and layout of proposals in preparation for production. Working collaboratively, you will also work with other team members to develop content for non-technical portions of the proposal response such as capability statements, staffing, resumes, and reference cases, and ensure compliance with client requirements. You will also coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure all critical information is included in the proposal.
- As the expert in proposal management, you will coach teams on industry best practices and methods for proposal writing.
- You will build and strengthen our proposal capabilities and processes by creating a proposal library of best practice content and guidance.
- Maintain a database of proposal activity and client feedback by analyzing and reporting on activity and trends to leadership utilizing Unanet, our ERP software. This includes keeping accurate records on proposals in progress, completed, wins, losses, etc.
- Contribute innovative ideas and creative approaches to increase efficiency and help our studio reach its goals, including collaboration with our Digital Practice and Operations teams to strategize on workflow improvements and automation opportunities.
- You have:_
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5-6 years experience in end-to-end proposal development.
- The ability to interact collaboratively across departments and teams, forging effective relationships across our studio.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- including attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit material, as well as an aptitude for understanding technical terminology.
- Power user with proficiency in Adobe InDesign CC and MS Office products (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
