**Purchasing Administrative Assistant**

We are looking for an individual to join our highly detailed office team in our fast paced office environment.
Dunrite is a well-respected and well-established family concrete equipment and supplies company located in Calgary. We are a family and people-oriented team. We work business hours, Monday to Friday, and don’t work evenings or weekends. We stay busy year-round with different business emphasis during different seasons so there is a good variety of work over the year.
Responsibilities Include:
- Tracking shipments/updating POs on a daily basis
- Communicating with suppliers on PO confirmations, missing paperwork, backorders, missing credits, returns, price and receiving discrepancies etc
- Communicating with customs broker on delays and documentation
- Performing data entry duties
- Arranging weekly local pick ups from suppliers
- Receiving POs accurately and maintaining US Excel Spreadsheet
- Entering manufactured work orders into the system
- AP invoice and freight invoice entry
- Reconciling incurred freight damages
- Inventory control and reconciliation
- Sourcing small parts
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years experience working in an administrative capacity
- Thrives in a fast paced environment with lots of paperwork
- Experience with document control
- Can manage multiple tasks and keep track of the details in a fast paced environment
- Proficient on computer programs including accounting, Excel and Outlook
- Passionate about providing positive customer service experience
- Friendly with a sincere desire to work as part of a team
- Effective verbal skills and well-written communications
- Flexibility to support the team in different tasks to accomplish our targets
